Kirk McConnell practices with Goldsand Friedberg in a contractor position. He has practiced in the healthcare regulatory sector with an emphasis on healthcare compliance since 1991. He currently serves as a compliance resource for both a medical device company and an ambulatory surgery center company. He has previously served as a Chief Compliance Officer, healthcare attorney, and senior officer for several healthcare providers since 1991.
His professional positions have included serving as Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer for IVX Health, Senior Vice President/General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Haven Behavioral Healthcare; Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer with CaremarkRx, a Fortune 100 company; and as Assistant General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer with Charter Medical Corporation. Mr. McConnell is a member of the Georgia (1986), Florida (1987) and Tennessee (2006) Bar Associations and began his practice of law in Atlanta as a management labor attorney in July 1986.
He earned both his J.D. and B.A. degrees from the University of Florida.
