Prior to joining Goldsand Friedberg, Madison practiced as Associate General Counsel at Vault Health, a virtual healthcare and decentralized clinical research platform. Before going in-house, she served on the healthcare regulatory teams at Goodwin Procter, LLP in New York, NY and Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, GA, advising clients on complex regulatory issues (e.g. telehealth, professional licensure, HIPAA, and corporate practice of medicine) in connection with internal compliance, mergers & acquisitions, as well as fundraising.

Some of Madison's representative matters include the following:

• Assisting an early-stage telehealth company on formation with establishment of PC/MSO ecosystem.

• Providing healthcare regulatory guidance to private equity, venture capital, and other investors in connection with investment in healthcare companies.

• Providing analysis and guidance regarding a HIPAA security incident to digital health company.

• Assisting clients with diligence in capital raises with respect to digital health regulatory issues.

• Representing biotech company in connection with securities filings.

• Negotiating clinical research agreements on behalf of research sites and providers.

• Counseling client on product and healthcare regulatory issues applicable to its telemedicine business.
