Peggy is an experienced healthcare attorney and compliance leader with over 15 years of experience advising major healthcare organizations, including Fortune 500 companies. Her practice focuses on regulatory compliance, technology, data privacy, managed care, Medicare and Medicaid, HIPAA, FDA regulations, digital health, vendor contracting, and clinical research. Peggy provides strategic counsel on complex federal and state healthcare laws, guiding clients through compliance challenges, risk mitigation, and regulatory investigations. She has extensive experience in government enforcement matters, litigation support, and the design and implementation of effective corporate compliance programs.
More specifically, Peggy assists clients in understanding federal and state laws and regulations relating to health care and technical matters. She assists clients with understanding risks associated with business decisions and strategies, navigating data privacy, cybersecurity, health information management, drugs and medical device, FDA, clinical trials, Medicare, Medicaid, fraud, waste and abuse regulations. She provides guidance and legal analysis in order to comply with the laws and to implement reasonable business practices.
She has held senior legal and operational roles at organizations such as Optum/UHG, Change Healthcare, Lewis Brisbois, CareSource, and the Cleveland Clinic. In addition to her practice, Peggy serves as an Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State College of Law, where she teaches healthcare law and compliance.
