Romain joined Goldsand Friedberg as Counsel in 2024. Romain is Board Certified in Health Law by the Florida Bar. He represents health care and technology companies on regulatory, operational, and corporate matters. Prior to joining Goldsand Friedberg, Romain practiced as a healthcare attorney at national firms, in South Florida.
Some of Romain's representative matters include the following:

Counseling healthcare businesses on regulatory matters, including corporate practice of medicine, scope of practice, state licensure, prescribing, reimbursement, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, compliance, and other matters.

Advising healthcare clients on complex commercial agreements.

Advising healthcare clients in connection with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and managed care regulations, including risk-based contracts.

Advising healthcare clients on fraud and abuse considerations, including both state and federal anti-kickback and self-referral (Stark) laws.

Representing clients as healthcare regulatory counsel in various transactions, performing due diligence reviews as part of acquisitions.

Advising clients on HIPAA and privacy related matters.
Romain graduated with a JD from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude. As a native of France, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from the University of Toulouse Capitol and a Bachelor in Law from the University of Paris II – Pantheon Assas.
