Juan Pablo (“Pablo”) is a business-savvy, solutions-focused lawyer who helps clients achieve their objectives by streamlining complex transactions and cutting unnecessary costs. He balances deep legal insight with a clear appreciation for each client’s strategic business goals, delivering both efficiency and impact in every matter.
As a multi-jurisdictional transactional attorney, Pablo advises on domestic and cross-border venture capital and private equity financings, corporate reorganizations, M&A transactions, and general corporate governance. He routinely guides early- and late-stage companies, investment funds and high-net-worth individuals through growth-stage investments and strategic exits, always with an eye toward long-term value creation.
Before joining Goldsand Friedberg LLP, Pablo was a partner at a boutique firm with offices in Miami and New York, focusing on cross-border EC/VC transactions representing both high-growth companies and strategic investors. Pablo’s career started in the Mexico City and Washington, D.C., offices of Hogan Lovells focusing on M&A, banking, and corporate finance transactions. He also represented international energy companies in public tenders for large-scale oil & gas and renewable projects, and advised foreign startups on adapting disruptive business models to Mexico’s legal framework.

Advised Owens-Illinois in the acquisition of the food & beverage division of Vitro, one of the largest glass producers worldwide.
Advised Sealed Air Corporation in the sale of the Diversey Care division and the food hygiene and cleaning business within its Food Care division to Bain Capital.
Represented Jaguar Land Rover UK in the launch of its Mexican distribution subsidiary.
Advised Cabify in their Mexico operations and lobbying efforts with Mexican transportation authorities.
Education
Pablo holds an LL.B. in Law (J.D. equivalent) from Universidad Iberoamericana, an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (where he earned a full-tuition CONACYT scholarship awarded on merits of professional development), and an M&A Diploma from ITAM. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Babson College (expected May 2026) to deepen his entrepreneurial and business expertise. Pablo is licensed in New York and Mexico, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
